How can I find qualified, loving day care for my baby?
What can I do to get my child to sleep? Is my three-year-old ready
for preschool? What kind of fun activities will help my child learn?
Following up on a successful run of Help Me
Grow, Series One in 2003-04, Help Me Grow
keeps the momentum going with thirteen new episodes designed to give
parents and child care providers useful advice to help kids grow up
healthy, strong and learning. Produced by KOCE, PBS from Orange County,
the new series airs Monday evenings, beginning January 24 at 7:00
p.m., with encore broadcasts every Friday at noon.
Hosted by Sandra Robbie and Bernardo Osuna, second season
episodes feature compelling family stories that illustrate the expectations,
difficulties and demands of being a parent. Dr. William Sears, author
and internationally recognized pediatrician from Orange County, provides
health and safety tips. Experts offer their experienced counsel on
topics most important and interesting to parents of children up to
five years of age, such as sleep, child care, when to visit the doctor,
and the importance of play.
Taped in English, the programs are also available in
Spanish through the SAP channel.
Help Me Grow is funded by a grant from
the Children and Families Commission of Orange County, and produced
by KOCE public television. Wendy Moulton Tate is series Producer,
