KOCE is One of the Most Watched PBS Stations Nationwide
KOCE-TV is a PBS station, owned by the community-based KOCE-TV Foundation. KOCE-TV is located in Huntington Beach, with digital and analog transmitters on Mount Wilson, reaching 5 million households or 14 million people in Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties. KOCE-TV is now in the top ten most watched out of 347 PBS stations in America,* with audiences exceeding those of the big PBS stations in Washington D.C., Boston, and Dallas.
KOCE’s
24-hour High Definition Channel is one of the first all-HDTV channels in Southern California. KOCE’s future plans include digital education and news channels for Orange County and beyond.
