Viewer Services Representative

Position Description:

This non-exempt position reports to the Supervisor, Advancement Support and will support the Membership Department in areas of viewer services, membership services, premium fulfillment, special events, and data entry.

Essential Functions:

• Provide excellent customer service communication to viewers, members, and the general public,
  via phone, in person, the web, and by mail
• Assist with database management to insure accuracy and completeness of membership information
• Assist event planning details and various mailings
• Assist in premium packaging and shipping
• Responsible for front desk duties including answering general phone inquiries and greeting guests
• Use discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
• Interface in a positive manner with other divisions and departments in accomplishing the station’s mission, demonstrating an attitude of teamwork and doing what is necessary to assist in the success
  of any station project or activity
• Demonstrate a positive example of competence, industry, dedication, and loyalty and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Microsoft Windows literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, particularly over the phone
• Excellent use of business grammar and English language skills
• Ability to perform in a highly professional manner, demonstrating a high level of diplomacy and tact
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and follow-through
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a multi-task environment
• Excellent attendance and punctuality a must
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
