Your gift to KOCE can now have a greater impact
in the community!
If you are 701/2 or older and own an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), recent legislation benefits you! You can now rollover funds from your IRA (up to $100,000) as a gift to a qualified charitable organization like KOCE and avoid all tax on your distribution. Previously, any withdrawal – even for charitable purposes – would have been subject to income tax,
however – due to this recent legislation this is no longer the case.
Demonstrate your support for the community service KOCE provides
by taking advantage of this limited time gift opportunity now!
How you can benefit from the new IRA charitable giving law:
- You can make a gift to
KOCE-TV, up to $100,000
(or $200,000 for a married couple) without incurring the taxes you would have in the past!
- You must be 70 and 1/2
or older.
- You must make a direct rollover, not a personal distribution
(contact KOCE for help).
- This gift can count toward your minimum distribution.
- You may take advantage of this opportunity until December 31, 2007
