Imagine that you are physically
handicapped, elderly or ill and are unable to hold a book,
magazine or newspaper. Imagine the joy in finding a free
reading service available in the comfort of your own home. Now,
public television KOCE has created a reading service for this
special audience.
Hear
& Now is the only free reading service in Orange and
LA counties which enables its listening audience to hear the finest
in literature, the latest bestsellers, popular magazine, and national
and local newspapers without the need of a specialized radio receiver.
Hear & Now is available free as a community service of KOCE
public television on the station's Secondary Audio Program (SAP)
channel. If you or someone you know can use this service or
would like help as a volunteer, please contact Camille
Dixon at (714) 895-5623.
