Pledge Volunteer and Challenge Grant Information for Businesses
We Invite Your Volunteer Participation
and On-Air Challenge Grant
How does it work?
When your company gives $5,000 or more, you have
the option of recruiting employee volunteers to participate as
volunteer phone operators.
What does it take?
We suggest matching funds of $5,000
You will multiply the benefits to your company
if you recruit twenty employee volunteers to answer the pledge
phones.
Participation is simple
Our celebrity host — with the help of
your company spokesman — will present your challenge to
viewers at home. A video box at the bottom left of the television
screen will further announce your challenge and reinforce the
challenge to viewers during the breaks.
Your company volunteers spend the evening alternating
between pledge phones on the studio set, and having refreshments
and relaxing in our conference area. We offer a light buffet
supper prior to answering phones.
Times for arrival and departure vary. On week
nights, volunteers are usually with us from about 6:00 to 10:30
p.m.
Benefits to your company
Your company and employees will receive considerable
televised recognition throughout the evening. Employees are
on the television stage during the live pledge breaks and will
be seen by the television audience.
On-air recognition includes the announcement
of your challenge during the challenge breaks. Your company
name appears in a video box on the television screen during
each of the challenge breaks.
Our on-air talent will thank and acknowledge
your volunteers throughout the evening.
Your employees will enjoy being a part of a
live television production. Most companies come back year after
year to take part in KOCE’s pledge activities.
Your employees will enjoy getting together to
participate in a worthwhile community project. Volunteers often
wear company tee-shirts.
Viewers will recognize your company as one that
cares about the community.
