WITH FOUR EMMY NOMINATIONS FOR KOCE-TV

KOCE received four Los Angeles Area Emmy Award nominations, a record for the Orange County PBS station and the most nominations of any other Southern California PBS station. Emmy winners will be announced at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awards banquet on August 28th at the Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood. The winning nominations for KOCE include the following:

In the category of Education, "Unlocking a Future," Maria Hall-Brown, Producer;

In the category of Arts & Culture/History, "Real Orange: Laguna Beach: 10 Years After the Fire," Allison Everman , Producer;

In the category of Arts & Culture/History, "Tibet: Beyond Mystique," Peter Murphy, Producer, Gloria Gellman, Executive Producer;

In the category of Informational/Public Affairs Series (more than 50% studio based), "Help Me Grow," Hall David son and Ed Miskevich, Executive Producers, Peter Murphy and David Nazar, Producers, and Sandra Robbie, Host.
