KOCE Now Offering Streaming Video Service
Want
to see an earthquake? Or watch an award-winning book read to first
graders? KOCE sends these videos and more to schools every day, every
night and even on holidays. How? Through the Internet! Teachers and
educators can search through a library of thousands of titles by keyword
or by state standards to find the right program to complement their
lesson plan. When they find something they want right away, they simply
download it to their computer or "stream" it right through
their computer monitor.
This video service is available to all member schools
of KOCE's media consortium, Telecommunications of Orange County (TOC).
Students learn better - and faster - when media is available in their
subject area. Sound like something that you'd like to see in your
own home? KOCE staff is working hard to make this same media library
available to home viewers very soon. We'll keep you posted!
