KOCE Classroom represents over 400,000 K-12 teachers and students in Orange County. Provided with on-air curricular broadcasts, 5,000+ online streaming videos and thousands of still images, speeches, and articles for use in the classroom, teachers are encouraged to use this media in meaningful ways. KOCE Classroom provides training in courses such as: Media in the Classroom, Using Media for Effective Presentations, Digital Storytelling, and Copyright and Fair Use. KOCE-TV airs student video through Schoolhouse Video (www.schoolhousevideo.org) and supports the California Student Media Festival (www.mediafestival.org), the nation's oldest student film festival. KOCE Classroom also airs special live educational broadcasts, showing students from around the world solve very complex math and science problems.
