The cost to schools to become a full member of KOCE Classroom is $1.35 per student ($1.05 if an entire district joins.) This fee covers curriculum-based video broadcast on KOCE, access to Discovery Streaming, teacher training, and a monthly resource newsletter. Membership is a truly cost effective way for schools to build a rich instructional media collection and the training to implement it in the classroom. Purchasing just one video from a distributor can cost hundreds of dollars. It cost less than $600 for an average size elementary school to join. This includes access to over 500 streaming online standard-based videos; thousands of still images, speeches, articles, and teachers support materials. A membership is a worthwhile investment in the education of all children.
